Emvital Laser Pain Relief in San Diego
Serving Scripps Ranch, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Mira Mesa, and the greater San Diego area.
Everyday activities, workouts, aging, and the demands of daily life can leave your muscles and joints sore and stiff. Emvital is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive laser therapy that uses soothing, targeted warmth to ease muscle and joint discomfort, offered at Solveris Health and Longevity under the care of Ashley Shaw, FNP-BC.
How Emvital works
Emvital uses an advanced 1064 nm laser with hands-free TriHIL® technology to emit energy in the visible and infrared spectrum. This energy gently warms targeted tissue, raising its temperature to provide temporary relief. The hands-free design combines an ultrasonic sensor, an infrared camera, and dynamic laser patterns to deliver comfortable, precise treatment.
What Emvital is used for
Emvital delivers gentle laser warmth that helps ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, and minor arthritis pain, relax tight muscles and spasms, and support healthy local circulation. It's a comfortable, non-surgical way to soothe everyday aches and support mobility and recovery, and it fits naturally alongside our whole-body approach to helping you feel and move better.
Emvital for jaw and TMJ pain
Jaw tension is one of the areas where Emvital's hands-free design genuinely matters. Most laser therapy uses a handheld wand, which means someone is pressing an applicator against a masseter that is already tender. Emvital's applicator is placed over the jaw and temple area and runs on its own, with nothing leaning on the muscle while it works.
A precise point on what this does. Emvital is cleared for temporary relief of muscle and joint pain, stiffness, minor arthritis pain, and muscle spasm, which is what it is doing when applied to a clenched, aching jaw. Treating TMJ dysfunction as a diagnosed condition is a separate cleared indication held by EMFACE, which addresses muscle re-education and jaw range of motion. The two work on different parts of the same problem, and where a combined plan makes sense we will discuss it.
What to expect
Sessions take under 30 minutes and are completely non-invasive, with no downtime. Most patients describe a gentle, localized warmth in the treated area. A typical course is about four sessions spaced a few days apart, and your provider will tailor a plan to your needs. You can return to normal activities immediately afterward.
Frequently asked questions
Does Emvital hurt?
No. Patients typically feel a soothing warmth as the tissue heats, and your provider monitors your comfort throughout.
Is Emvital right for me?
Emvital is used for temporary relief of muscle and joint discomfort. As with any treatment, it isn't appropriate for everyone, so care begins with a consultation to confirm it's a good fit for your situation.
How is Emvital different from Emsculpt Neo?
They're complementary. Emvital provides temporary relief from minor arthritis pain, muscle pain, and stiffness, while Emsculpt Neo builds and strengthens muscle. Some patients benefit from both as part of a broader plan.
